Mine to Have: Sensuality and Circumstance (POSTPONED)
A message from the Board of Live Five:
Out of concern for our friends and fellow artists at Listen to Dis we at Live Five, along with our partners at On The Boards Staging Company and La Troupe du Jour, have decided to postpone our upcoming production of Mine to Have which was originally scheduled to perform at Studio 914 between March 19th to 22nd and March 26th to 29th, 2020. Per the guidance of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Government of Saskatchewan, we felt the need to take proactive steps to reduce the risk of infection to our performers and the community abroad. While the current risk to Saskatchewan residents is low, the risk does not outweigh the reward especially when a reschedule is possible.
The production will now tentatively move to June 8th to 21st and will still be at Studio 914 and all tickets previously booked for Mine to Have will be honoured for the re-scheduled dates. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and we recognize the great inconvenience this has caused, and will continue to cause, all Saskatchewanians over the coming weeks.
At this time we do not anticipate disruptions for our final production of the season, The Musical of Musicals, The Musical, but we will continue to update the public through our social media channels.
The health of our patrons and artists means everything to us, so thank you for your understanding and please continue to take care of yourselves,
On behalf of the Live Five Board of Directors
A message from the Producers of Mine to Have:
On behalf of Listen To Dis’ Community Arts Organization Inc. and The Other Ordinary, the decision to postpone Mine To Have was the only action that made common sense. Health first is not a new concept for any of our members yet the decision to postpone the tour was a very difficult one. We would like to thank everyone involved for holding this with so much tenderness and understanding: Live Five, La Troupe du Jour, and On The Boards. The show is sitting beautifully and we look forward to presenting it when it is safe to do so.
