Zastrozzi, Europe's greatest criminal, seeks revenge on Verezzi, the man who killed his mother. For this task, Zastrozzi recruits Matilda and Bernardo, fellow criminals, to help entrap, humiliate, and dispatch Verezzi. The only person keeping Verezzi alive is Victor, Verezzi’s beleaguered servant. Julia, a local aristocrat, is also pulled unknowingly into the web of deception, sex, and violence.
